The Minister of State for Education, Mr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, says no date has been fixed yet for full schools’ resumption even though the Federal Government had continued to engage stakeholders.   Nwajiuba said this during the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Monday in Abuja. Universities Resumption Date 2020

If u are a student in any of the tertiary institutions in Nigeria, you must have been searched for Resumption date for all schools in Nigeria, including both (federal, states, and private, polytechnics and colleges of education). The holiday has become very boring especially for those who have not yet learned any skill prior to the break. With these alarming figures, it, therefore, becomes unsafe to re-open schools for students to resume because we all know how students behave. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 663 new COVID-19 cases in 25 states and the federal capital territory (FCT). This is the highest daily toll ever since Nigeria confirmed its index case on February 27, 2020. With 663 samples confirmed positive on Tuesday, a total of 13,464 COVID-19 cases have now been recorded in 35 states and the FCT. 1. 1. A Covid-19 patient who escaped from Imo state has been arrested in Ondo state. The members of Ondo state special task force on Covid-19 have arrested a Coronavirus patient that escaped from Imo state to come and stay at Akure, Ondo state. The patient was apprehended at the popular Ojo Oba Market in Akure on Saturday. The woman was caught where she was selling second hand clothes to people in the market. 2. The murder of a pregnant woman in Ibadan looks like a ritual killing - Police. The Oyo State Police Command has said that the murder of Azeezat Somuyiwa, 29, in the Akinyele Moniya Local Government Area of Oyo State, is similar to ritual killing. The Police said investigations were ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding Somuyiwa’s death and that of 18-year-old Barakat Bello who was raped and killed in the same LGA.
